THE WHOLY MONTHS OF RAMADHAN
Ramadhan is the 9th months on islamic carlender, it is the fourth piller of islam, in this months the quraan was revelled.
Fasting means abstaining from eating and drinking and leaving all prohibited activities from morning upto evening that is probably magrib prayer.
During fasting you need to stay away from talking lies all bad activities like the prophet peace be up him said (if you can't leave your lies and acting in that situation then GOD has no interest in your fasting).
One of the main reasons why Muslims fast is to gain strength in faith and fear.
Fasting is a command from GOD and even other generation used to perform fasting.
Like the quraan says (oh you who believe fasting was written to you like it was written to peaple before you, may be you can fear him)
This means fasting the wholy months of ramadhan is compulsory to all muslems who are mature men and women, only allah knows the payment of fasting.
Fasting is the months of forgiveness. The months of repenting.
